Women's Fellowship by Catherine Jack
| February 2005 | |||
We have a very lively speaker on Wednesday 9th February at 2.15pm. She is Mrs Carolyn Robinson, who will sing to us and give us a challenging message. We meet in the Emmaus Room. |
|||
| Our meeting on Wednesday 16th February at 2.15pm will be entirely different. Mrs Wrigley from Southwold will introduce us to Tai Chi and show s how to relax when tensed up with our problems. We warmly invite you to come and watch or take part in this special activity. Many people have found these relaxation exercises very helpful. Refreshments will be served at both these meetings. | |||

November 2004 |

|
At our meeting on Wednesday, 10th November at 2.15pm in the Emmaus
Room, Mrs Irene Sayer, the Connexial President of Women's Network, will
speak about 'A Year in the Life of the President'. No doubt she will have
many amusing tales to tell, so come along and enjoy her talk. |

October 2004 Meetings in October |
|||
| On October 13th at 2.15pm we welcome for the first time Mrs Janet Hurst who is secretary of the Women’s Fellowship in Holy Trinity Church, Bungay. | |||
| Janet will talk about her love of flowers and will show
us how to make a flower-arrangement. Mrs Effie Robinson will do the Epilogue.
This should prove to be an interesting and entertaining meeting so do not
miss it! New members are always welcome. Refreshments will be served afterwards.

Our meeting on October 20th will be entirely different, as we are hoping
to raise money for the Network President’s Appeal, by holding a ‘Sponsored
Silence for 50 minutes’. We have been asked to contribute to the financial support of a young Christian student Karuna Shrestha from Nepal who is taking a degree in Organic Agriculture in the Dankook University in Korea. |
||
| She tells us that Korea is far ahead of Nepal in this field.
Karuna acknowledges that it would not have been possible for her to take
this course, without the help of Christians in East Anglia. Afterwards she
will return to Nepal and use her skills for the benefit of her own people. Our ladies will be asking members of their family, friends and neighbours to sponsor them in this special event. Please support them if you are asked. This is one way in which we can help our fellow Christians in Nepal. |
|||
| Is it possible for the lively, talkative ladies of our
Women’s Fellowship to keep quiet for 50 minutes? Come and watch them in
the Emmaus Room on the 20th October at 2.15pm, and find out for yourselves!
